Fictional locationsFictional location — rename to singular per Manual of Style — Swpb talk contribs 17:22, 6 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I completed the move, which was uncontroversial - no need for a survey to follow the MoS. -GTBacchus(talk) 18:34, 6 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

One thing I don't understand is what made me link to a page entitled Fictional location on 2 November 2006 (see Portal:Literature/Did you know/Week 52) when, as I see from the edit history, this article was only created in January 2007. Was there an older article with the same title (rather than just a couple of redirects) which was deleted wholesale (including its edit history)? Just curious. <KF> 23:30, 5 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

A street?

edit

Would a street also fit in here? I'm thinking of Armistead Maupin's Barbary Lane (Tales of the City), but there are many more examples. <KF> 00:33, 6 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Where in the world is Dawn Arkin?

edit

Is there any kind of link or reference for that alleged article? I can't find any actual trace of it or even identify the author with any certainty. Is it even relevant? The quote does not seem very astonishing. Hasn't any notable author said anything more interesting about the subject? --Ehitaja (talk) 13:20, 15 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
